How long have you worked at OGI?
“I was hired at OGI in the Fall of 2022 and officially started at the beginning of December.”
What is your favorite thing about your job?
“There are many things I love about my job, but my favorite part of this work is the connection with patients. It matters to me when I can share space with someone during an impactful chapter of their life. Whether the individual is experiencing great joy or walking through something difficult it is an honor to be witness to it. If on my drive home I can reflect and feel like a patient’s needs, concerns, and humanity were appropriately cared for then it was a good day.”
What do you enjoy doing outside of work?
“It’s a generic answer but it’s true – spending time with my family is what makes me happiest. My husband, Anthony, and I have an almost one year old daughter, Waverly, who keeps us busy. She has the best sense of humor, and incredible comedic timing for a little person, so she keeps us laughing. I also love to spend time near the water whenever I can. It doesn’t matter if it is the ocean, a lake, or a pool – if there is water that can be swam in, I am at peace.”
If you could describe yourself in one word, what would it be?
“Resilient”
